I have a newsletter on Substack called CENTURY SONGS, all about random songs I love from 2000-present. Midwest goof off. Basketball, baseball, rock & roll. He/him. https://centurysongs.substack.com
Sorry, I’m a lifelong midwesterner and we just got our first Jack in the Box recently. American cheese on tacos…?

I've been seeing this video a few times and it's super impressive but also why is it better to use one piece of tape? Who cares? Is there a tape shortage? I say the more tape I use, the more I care.

(Yes I have been wrapping all morning and no I am not good at it)
#GVerse 😱 We’ve been wrapping gifts wrong our entire life. In Japan, they only need one piece of tape.👀

I don’t know why but I always want Sam Darnold to have an apostrophe in his name. D’Arnold. Now he’s sophisticated. He’s French. He’s a Musketeer.

Beauty and the Beast's Gaston will reportedly be the next Disney villain to get their own live-action spin-off, following in the footsteps of Maleficent and Cruella de Vil. https://bit.ly/4ajns6g

Just had a lengthy discussion with the 8yo about the ramifications of if the gifts given in "The 12 Days of Christmas" compound with each day; i.e, if by the end of the 12 days you have 12 partridges in pear trees. "What am I supposed to do with all these people? Do I have to pay them?"

Not the point but why “herds” and not “packs” here? Packs even works because the snow is packed…

Here it is: the poll to determine the release date of YANKEE HOTEL FOXTROT. Please read the entire form, consider the arguments, laugh at the jokes. The poll runs until 12:01 AM Mon Dec 15. You can change your vote anytime before then. I have tried to turn off the results so that you vote blind.
YANKEE HOTEL FOXTROT: 2001 or 2002? An inquiry.
Here are the facts as we know them: In late 2000, Wilco entered the studio and began work on what would become YANKEE HOTEL FOXTROT. It was completed in early 2001, and was submitted to their label, ...

A beautuful thread about Rob Reiner.
I’m just going to tell the story. Back in 2000 I was volunteering for the Gore campaign when he came along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Alfre Woodard and Dule Hill to a GOTV event here in MN. He ended up sitting down across from me stuffing his envelopes.

I have the Kelly Clarkson Christmas song in my head and I do not know the words to it, so I just caught myself singing "This year, da-da da-da-da-da, the Bronx is up and the Battery's down..."
