Same reason there is no public inquiry into UKIP/Reform Russia ties and acknowledgement that what transpired was a hostile foreign intelligence operation - too embarrassing for any government to admit. Wrong attitude, however.

The real problem is - it is NOT Trumps America BUT Americas Trump. Same as in Russia. America has systematically dismantled its education system, legalised endemic political corruption and outsourced actual decision making to oligarchs. This is but an endgame of 40+ years of societal disintegration.

Russians won in US by installing a Kremlin pupet, however they have not won in Europe. After the dust settles and EU achieves strategic independence in defence, Americans will get their reality check. Simply put average American is too stupid to understand their own longterm interest.

Ready and willing, provided that what it takes does not go beyond performative statements. I am all for EU and UA but until this endemic cowardice is overcome, losing is a forgone conclusion. Let alone any kinetic actions, there is even not enough courage to use accurate terms instead of euphemisms.

For a country the urge to save face is understandable but it is counterproductive to solving the burning problem of being compromised on highest political levels. Brexit was GRU-s dress rehearsal for what happened later in USA. Neither of the outcomes were democratic or natural.
