It is because a third of your electorate is functionally illiterate, a third is indifferent and a third are cowardly. Trump is but a symptom. Are the people to blame? Yes and no, the systemic boiling of the frog has been going on for decades.

Same reason there is no public inquiry into UKIP/Reform Russia ties and acknowledgement that what transpired was a hostile foreign intelligence operation - too embarrassing for any government to admit. Wrong attitude, however.
December 9, 2025 at 9:31 PM
Russias mobilisation reserve is about 2 milion, we, Europe better get ready. Cowardice will not stop what is coming, it only makes our position weaker. Airforces, Ships, troops and long range weapons should be readied and ALL bureaucratic restrictions IMMEDIATELY lifted from all weapons production!
December 9, 2025 at 3:19 PM
Coalition of the “willing” is unwilling to do the things that are necessary. All it takes is something to be politically uncomfortable and that is all. None of the Western European countries are currently capable of defending even themselves. They had MORE than 10 years…
December 8, 2025 at 7:41 PM
One the one hand it is horrible and EU MUST grow a spine and stand firm now! On the other it think it signals, that Russias collapse is imminent and therefore Trumps frantic efforts to save them. Americans and Brits need to understand that if Putin falls, so will Trump/MAGA and Farage/Reform.
December 8, 2025 at 1:33 PM
The real problem is - it is NOT Trumps America BUT Americas Trump. Same as in Russia. America has systematically dismantled its education system, legalised endemic political corruption and outsourced actual decision making to oligarchs. This is but an endgame of 40+ years of societal disintegration.
December 7, 2025 at 2:22 PM
The order of magnitude is wrong 120 bilion seems more appropriate. Cant pay? Ban it! It is a hostile fascist propaganda network, run by a psychopathic oligarch, actively subverting democracy.
December 5, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Russians won in US by installing a Kremlin pupet, however they have not won in Europe. After the dust settles and EU achieves strategic independence in defence, Americans will get their reality check. Simply put average American is too stupid to understand their own longterm interest.
December 5, 2025 at 12:22 PM
Ready and willing, provided that what it takes does not go beyond performative statements. I am all for EU and UA but until this endemic cowardice is overcome, losing is a forgone conclusion. Let alone any kinetic actions, there is even not enough courage to use accurate terms instead of euphemisms.
December 4, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Make sure MAGA understands EU will follow through in case of betrayal - it is time to call it what it is. Trump is betraying both Americans and Europeans at the same time.
December 2, 2025 at 11:04 AM
For a country the urge to save face is understandable but it is counterproductive to solving the burning problem of being compromised on highest political levels. Brexit was GRU-s dress rehearsal for what happened later in USA. Neither of the outcomes were democratic or natural.
December 2, 2025 at 9:56 AM
If you ask me, it’s a tad bit idiotic to mull over the legality of helping your neighbour fend off a murderer who is surely coming for you next, alas that is the “quality” of EUs “leadership”
September 14, 2025 at 8:03 PM
I am afraid you might be grossly underestimating what they have ruined. This probably inadvertently ends up killing the entire civilisation and I am not even exaggerating. You just have to look at the US role in coordination of global climate policies and science advancement.
September 14, 2025 at 8:10 AM
At this point Zelensky is the de-facto leader of the free world and EU “leaders” are toddlers.

When a ruzzian puppet is screaming about sanctions, they most definitely work. I would go as far as saying that these statements are one of the best indicators that sanctions work as intended.
September 11, 2025 at 9:47 AM
The rule of law guy would do well getting better acquainted with history, especially the history of nazi Germany and the legality of their actions in respect to their own laws during the regime. Might learn something vital.
September 11, 2025 at 6:45 AM
Disgusting, banks and corporations ALWAYS end up in bed with fascists. I would expect the government to have more backbone, alas this is Europe. It il clear whose interest are being served and at whose expense. People need to control governments and governments corporations not vice versa.
September 6, 2025 at 10:42 AM
It is simply hilarious how Americans talk about the media and expect it to be journalism, you killed it in 1974. In America there is corporate propaganda and political propaganda, both owned by the same people by the way, but no mainstream journalism.
August 26, 2025 at 9:21 PM
If all the European politicians combined had half the balls of Zelensky, it would have been over a long time ago. The spineless wet rags running Europe are complicit in making the situation an existential threat to western culture.
August 21, 2025 at 11:16 AM
This is no longer solvable by elections - actual fair elections will not be allowed. Americans need to grow up, acknowledge reality and act accordingly. Alas, they will not - not enough intellect, moral character and willingness for sacrifice. US can be written off.

Morons, utter absolute morons. Collectively STOP all weapons purchases from US, cancel all programs. Redirect money to EU companies. Green-light strategic nuclear armament programs with ICBM component. Tax all US big tech internet companies. If US threatens to retaliate - de dollarisation.
July 3, 2025 at 9:15 AM
If it really surprised ANY European leaders, these people are actual clinical imbeciles. After Orange Shitler further consolidates power and becomes a full blown dictator, US will openly switch sides. US is Europes strategic adversary, NOT a friend.
