If it really surprised ANY European leaders, these people are actual clinical imbeciles. After Orange Shitler further consolidates power and becomes a full blown dictator, US will openly switch sides. US is Europes strategic adversary, NOT a friend.

During the few past months America has factually committed a foreign political suicide. There is no coming back from this for a better part of a century. Stupidity is far more expensive than a proper publicly funded education system.
