I’m not sure ‘our national security developed vetting technique can be beaten if a candidate is prepared to lie’ is an especially helpful line to push.

[Being deported] [smiles] at least some no mark labour mp didn't have to deal with the greens
This is grim-Labour MPs saying they prefer a Reform win in Gorton & Denton than The Greens: Reform is worse for the country, but the Greens are be worse for their careers. They want Reform to do well so they can use them as a threat to force folk to vote Labour www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Honestly what is the point of having a programme that is *not* live if you are not going to use that function to aggressively factcheck the people on it?
It is quite striking that Konstantin Kisin simply denied (falsely) on BBC1 that he had said what he said, word for word, on his podcast.
Konstantin Kisin straight up lying on #bbcqt

Douglas Alexander: “When Fraser Nelson put it to you that Rishi Sunak is absolutely english… you said “he’s a brown Hindu, how is he english?”

Kisin: “No, that’s not what I said...”

Oh dear. They really are cowards
NEW: Andy Burnham *blocked* from standing in the Gorton and Denton byelection. Of nine voting members on NEC group was 8-1 against him.

Seance of Blake manor!!!
What was your favourite game at the end of 2025? I'm guessing your mind hasn't changed in the last ten days, but do say if it has

Localisations/early access/expansions count, remasters/ports don't count. Remakes depend.

Two-way ties count

What scientific advances can be credited to the mind of Musk? Or is it now possible to get a Royal Society fellowship for marketing and investing and managing?
"I'm afraid there's many bad people around, but they have made scientific advances." - President of the Royal Society.

The Royal Society continues to be happy to be associated with, indeed honour Elon Musk with fellowship, despite the Grok scandal.

I will never understand this.

then, as a young 9 year old lad, I was playing Pokemon Fire Red. Now, without a doubt it's VTM Bloodlines - one of the greatest games ever made.
Quote this with your favourite game NOW that was released in 2004, and what your favourite was THEN (if you had one)

Man, Citizen Sleeper 2 is so great. Played both games over Christmas and it’s really just everything you’d want from a sequel. Still would put Seance of Blake Manor as my game of the year but CS2 certainly a very strong contender.

Amnesia the dark descent for both. Great game that changed the horror game genre and is maybe what started to get me into horror in the first place.

Listing out some things I enjoyed this year, just for a bit of fun. The best book I read in 2025 was Rejection by Tony Tulathimutte. Fantastic set of short stories, each about a person that experiences rejection and how it shapes their life. I found it enthralling and harrowing in equal measure.
