I was brought up to treat others as I would be treated myself. Apparently that’s called ‘woke’ these days and to be despised.

Thought I'd say hello here with a pic of a beautiful blue sky over Blea Tarn in the English Lake District, taken on the day we took an old friend to his final resting place nearby. Hope you & he enjoy the view as much as we did.

Drinking a bottle of Anheuser-Busch's rip-off of Budweiser because it's been taking up space in my fridge since it was part of a meal deal offer at the Co-op. I'm wondering why they bother brewing the stuff when they could just fill the bottle with unadulterated water to achieve a similar result.

I've just found a hidden gem on here - mute words & phrases. I've asked it to mute anything with "y'all" in it and straightaway there's so much less bullshit in my feed 😍

This country is awash with money. The very rich are rich beyond imagination. So when Starmer wants to stay within his arbitrary fiscal rules, who does he decide to take money from? The very rich? No, from people with disabilities who depend on benefits for the bare minimum of a decent life.

It's been my privilege to know, and to work & volunteer beside some truly inspiring women - and as the past is the key to the future I know there will be many more to inspire me in the future too. Happy #internationalwomensday to all of you. Keep on being your awesome selves!

Brilliant campaigning from @wwtworldwide.bsky.social ft Megan McCubbin in spoof video at the Duck & Cover restaurant.

The use of humour as a campaign tool shouldn't be underestimated.

I'm finding it hard to understand why the first step in reducing bird flu risk hasn't been to ban the release of 50 million pheasant into the countryside each year.
