I think it's the idea of wanting privacy for Tav. He's also kinda shy, and he's like 32-ish so it's a little beyond him. Also ITL hockey players I like don't know Pokémon, for example, so I assume it's just "I dedicated my life to hockey" so I modelled Tav after that. :)

Yeah, just enough to cover the iron. I don't have a waffle iron of my own (and won't use the one here for my own ridiculousness) so I can't tutorial it. I think the first time we did it we saw it on YouTube or like followed an instruction/recipe from a website?

You gotta let it sit for the whole waffle cycle unless it's burning otherwise they stick. Even with oiling the waffle iron. Last time I did it, I made the waffles into grilled cheese sandwiches lol

The list includes fingerless gloves, hair clips, scrunchies, keychains, ornaments, a little makeup pouch, a crocheted blanket, an amigurimi doll, a normal plushie... a tarot reading mat, um... I forget what else. It's literally a mini advent calendar where the gifts get bigger as it goes.
