Besides, side risks can be postponed/dissolved/resolved peacefully on the basis of a general compromise later, while Russian aggression - once it has begun - is no longer possible to dissolve/postpone. Russia is totally unable to compromise reasonable, as is already evident, imho

Exactly as expected: the Presidential Office clarified Podolyak was discussing theoretical models, not finalized decisions. French media misinterpreted his words. Territorial questions, as Zelensky affirmed, are resolved only at the highest political level, or by the Ukrainian people.
Le Monde claims Ukraine is ready to accept a demilitarized zone in Donbas as a major concession. But this is misleading, Kyiv rejects any plan where only its troops withdraw or territory is ceded unilaterally. Ukraine supports a mutual pullback under international oversight, not one-sided concession
