Regardless of the specifics, the MOU puts in place a framework for conversations to come. That framework was created by the federal government and Alberta. Everyone else is a challenge to be managed as the project proceeds, rather than a partner in the decision whether to proceed.

The idea that people are deliberately staying pregnant for 20+ weeks and than getting an abortion for funsies... I don't even know what to say.

Would council value transit more if it were seen as transportation for everyone rather than a system of last resort for the poorest? It feels like there isn't much appetite to spend enough to actually improve service, and I don't know how to change that unless council/admin rely on it themselves.
