It's like someone said "Louisiana doesn't have the most corrupt and captured utility regulators." And the corrupt and captured utility regulators in Louisiana said, "Hold my beer."

A lot of rich people made a lot of money by shorting against Trump's market manipulation. Rich people are always going to make money from and for corrupt politicians. What I am sickened by is the extent to which Trump was willing to cause huge financial harm to so many in order to make this happen.

Since I first read Nash' "Rights of Nature" while studying for my LL.M. in Environmental Law, I have been focused on the use of law to advance fundamental ecological principles. Is there a BSKY group out there that carries on such a conversation? Thanks!

Intolerance for differing opinions is baked into the minds of insecure people. Abuse of power is baked into the minds of oligarchs. We all need to fight it all the way to the Supreme Court. And given this Supreme Court, even beyond. Sending $$ to Greenpeace now.

After a lifetime of work & personal responsibility, rule following, paying taxes & Social Security, I, like so many, am just a pawn in the grandiose & selfish games of insecure white men compensating for their inadequacy. It takes so many to feed them & satisfy their greed. My dreams are dying.

The problem for “them”with good public education and skills training is that higher expectations for oneself that good education produces reduces willingness to serve the rich for mere crumbs. All other arguments are just cover for class warfare, elitism, racism, misogyny, and bigotry.

I believe in capitalism - not unrestrained and unregulated capitalism, but the use of markets to efficiently allocate discretionary resources and drive innovation, competition, and customer focus. So, we are going to be part of the economic blackout--because we can, and with hope to send a signal.

Putting this question out there seriously:

Half the stuff from Amazon comes from China anyway. So, why not use TEMU or other?

Seems like this signals that we should look for actions by the current regime to illegally park public funds with private institutions. What they accuse, they usually do.
