So important. What they say is not the story. That is never the story. What happened is the story. Write what happened.

ICE is clearly out of control. This week the Senate can actually do something about it.

Sen. Chuck Schumer and other key Democrats seem to finally understand the urgency of this extraordinary moment.

DA Bregman: If ICE comes in without a warrant, without reasonable suspicion, without probable cause, that is false imprisonment in New Mexico. You can’t confine, restrain, or detain someone without proper legal authority to do so. And there’s no exception for law enforcement.

Sometimes when we combat Trump's election lies, we lose sight of just how badly Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. It wasn't close. He lost every swing state and the popular vote by a lot.

Every Democrat should be voting against this funding bill, and Democratic leadership in both chambers should be actively whipping their caucus in opposition.

Make sure your Members of Congress hear from you ASAP. Urge Democrats to answer the people’s call to stop ICE’s lawlessness.

Renee Nicole Good was not the first person killed, and she will not be the last unless Congress takes clear, immediate action to rein in DHS, ICE, and CBP. The DHS bill that was released clearly falls far short, and should be roundly rejected.

Crawling with ICE - arresting legal immigrants showing up for court appearances.

I asked one officer who they are prioritizing. His answer: everyone.

I need to share with you what I saw.

A 17-year-old was detained at a traffic stop because officers couldn’t make contact with his dad, who is deaf.

Another kid ended up in a shelter after making a wrong turn:
