Tough loss for the Giants but worth it long-term, even if nasty.

It’s a guess, but I would think ownership is encouraged by what they saw from Mike Kafka - regardless of result there at the end of OT.

Liked his aggression given talent disparity and how he’s leaned into Jameis.

Also, Cam Ward is making reads against the Seahawks’ defense. Converted a 3rd & 9 earlier with an empty backfield for a 22-ish yard gain over the middle.

Wan’Dale Robinson is still only 24 years old by the way. In case you didn’t know.

Giants have a real piece with him. Nabers’ health is essential to him being deployed in a role that suits him. But he can hoop if you get him the rock.

Bulls center Nikola Vucevic was completely uninterested in celebrating any aspect of the team's one-point win over the Wizards.

"We can't keep doing this. It's not sustainable," he told K.C. Johnson.

This doesn't seem like the first time he's been frustrated about discipline. Bet he ends up right.

Magic are on a 13-0 run in the last three minutes.

Knicks haven’t scored in almost four.

Franz Wagner is having his way with Hart and the Knicks’ defense.

Defensively, Orlando is looking off rook Mo Diawara outside and packing the paint. Brunson, Towns having a tough time

Da Silva bit on a Josh Hart pump fake on a 3-pointer.

Drive + kick = spray.

Jalen Brunson cashed out from the corner, and-one. He made the free throw which put the Knicks ahead 15-5 over the Magic.

Just four minutes into the game.

Landry Shamet just suffered a shoulder injury in big bump with WCJr., Suggs.

Ran right off the floor, to the visitor’s locker room, with team trainer Dr. Anthony Goenaga.

Shamet missed the start of the season after a preseason shoulder injury. Returned in late December

NBA League Pass needs a ‘tap + hold for 2x’ feature

TikTok, Twitter, other social media platforms have adopted it but think it would be great for NBA LP.

Would aid with skipping breaks/free throws/etc. and serve as the build-your-own option between full games and condensed

55 pts, 7 ast on 17-26 FG, 10-16 3PT.

Year 17 in the NBA. He’s 36.

My God.

Also:

Chris Paul became the only player in NBA history with at least 20,000 points, 12,000 assists and 6,000 rebounds today, per the Clippers.

Fitting day for this to happen.

James Harden’s 55 points are the most scored in a single game by a Los Angeles Clipper.

EVER.

Cool SportsCenter segment featuring Arkansas State WR Corey Rucker's photography skills (they actually showed a bunch of his pictures!)

Very cool.

Vince Gilligan to @richeisenshow.bsky.social about potential 'Breaking Bad' or 'Better Call Saul' cross-overs with 'Pluribus'

"We might have some cameos. We might have a few easter eggs to throw your way."

Knicks win 113-111. Lots of missed free throws at the end but the Mavericks were called for an offensive foul on their game-tying attempt.

Fans in Dallas were ready to be quiet as Brandon Williams shot what would have been a game-winning FT. Refs waived the layup off instead
November 20, 2025 at 5:29 AM
With just under three minutes to go and the Knicks down 1, Landry Shamet dove for the ball, didn't get it, got up, drew a charge.

With a minute left & NY down 1, Shamet made a 3-pointer that gave them the lead.

With 30s left, Shamet made a 3PTer that put them up three

Gigantic play for the Knicks. They were down two: Mavs turn it over (Hart poked it free, I believe) and the Knicks go the other way, move the ball until Landry Shamet was open in the corner.

Knicks 109, Mavs 108 with 62 seconds left
November 20, 2025 at 5:13 AM
know he’s irreversibly tied to that whole thing that happened that was a big deal but Max Christie really is a very good player

He’s near the top of the league in average corner 3-point makes per game. Only behind OG Anunoby
November 20, 2025 at 4:49 AM
Focus will reasonably be on the Knicks’ poor 3PT shooting (7-29) if they lose but I’m confident that’ll level out eventually.

Way more interested in how long they can keep defend like this for before it catches up to them, or if their offense is going to keep winning them games
November 20, 2025 at 4:45 AM
Knicks 87, Mavs 85 after three quarters.

Third quarter was a 35-35 tie. Knicks had their biggest lead of the game, eight, with four minutes left in it.

Ended with Deuce McBride saving them from their nonexistent defense with two deep bombs. Still gave one up at the buzzer
November 20, 2025 at 4:39 AM
Mitchell Robinson played 13 minutes and Guerschon Yabusele played 12 minutes in the first half

Robinson a -9, Yabu a +11

I think it’s fair to say this is both proof of how fickle this stat is most of the time and also that when New York went to five-out offense, it worked
November 20, 2025 at 4:02 AM
Mikal Bridges was averaging 2.0 steals and 1.2 blocks coming into tonight

Just before halftime and he has 3 steals and 1 block. Okay
November 20, 2025 at 3:53 AM
Knicks in Dallas. Brunson in, Flagg out.

Mavs lead 17-15 with four min left in Q1. Went on an 11-1 run earlier; Karl Towns just postered Gafford before checking out for Mitch Robinson.

Still early but Brunson has looked fine, just missed shots early

Jalen Brunson suffered a grade 1 ankle sprain, is out against the Heat tomorrow, and will be reevaluated daily according to every other member of the beat.

Grade 1 is a mild sprain with stretched ligaments, resulting in mild tenderness and swelling, according to Google.

Just filed my piece from tonight’s Knick loss – their first at home this season.

7-4 on the year thus far. Mike Brown put the ball in the players’ court with regard to his biggest problem with their performance in the L.

Story out in the morning 💤

Mike Brown on going with Deuce McBride over Mikal Bridges late:

"Just trying to spark something defensively, offensively, Deuce hit a couple 3's. Thought he was pretty good defensively. Same with Landry, thought he was pretty good defensively, hit a couple shots...searching"
