Will Hardy said at MSG that Jordan Clarkson has an “artist’s brain.”

“I told JC last year that when he felt the moment, got it going, we’d all step back, myself included, and let him do his guitar solo…asked that 75% of the game, he played a song everybody knew.”

Will Hardy called Jordan Clarkson an “artist,” telling reporters ahead of the game against the Knicks that he learned to “let go” when coaching the guard in Utah.

On the small tweak Mike Brown can make to have Clarkson making sweet string music off of the bench:

Knicks' 'Defensive Player of the Game' totals through 15 wins...

4: Josh Hart
2: Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, Mitchell Robinson, Deuce McBride
1: Jordan Clarkson, Landry Shamet, Ariel Hukporti

Mike Brown on Karl-Anthony Towns:

"He’s long man. He moves his feet better than people think. Also, he’s got a great feel. He’s a smart basketball player. when he uses his length the right way, which he’s been doing as of late…when he does that, it helps our paint defense"

Mike Brown on Deuce McBride, Defensive Player of the Game

"One thing that he's phenomenal at is pick and roll situations, just 1-2ing into the ball...having that impact at the point of our defense has been great, so he earned it tonight...based off the last couple of games, too"
December 6, 2025 at 3:17 AM
Knicks' Defensive Player of the Game was Deuce McBride per Mike Brown
December 6, 2025 at 3:16 AM
Knicks win 146-112 in OG Anunoby's first game back in action.

Jalen Brunson led with 33 points.
December 6, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Knicks have McBride, Clarkson, Bridges, and Anunoby in.

Ariel Hukporti is getting some 4Q run at center: just scored in slow-mo over Filipowski inside.

Have heard before that NY's front office really likes the 23-year-old big man but this staff really seems to like him too.
December 6, 2025 at 2:35 AM
Deuce McBride decided at some point that missing 3-pointers isn’t good and he shouldn’t do that. So he doesn’t.

Knicks 97, Jazz… do I have to say it? They’re down 30. Figure it out

OG Anunoby with another make at the rim, and-one, in his return.

Up to eight points after the FT.

Rookie moment for the very talented Ace Bailey. OG drove and switched hands right before shooting, baiting Bailey into swiping at his 'free' arm while he laid it up

Knicks a lot, Jazz much less

Josh Hart threw an entry pass in to KAT that bounced off of Towns' hand and out.

When NY called timeout right after, Towns ran straight over to Hart so the two could iron out the miscommunication and watch the replay together on the jumbotron.

No ego to be found with either.
December 6, 2025 at 1:26 AM
Jordan Clarkson to the rim, and-one.

Knicks lead 52-23 with 7:14 left until halftime. Clarkson made it a 29-point lead by making the free throw.

He's up to eight points on 3-5 FG.
December 6, 2025 at 1:21 AM
END 1Q: Knicks 41, Jazz 13.

For context, Jalen Brunson has 13 points on his own. NY shooting 14-23 FG, 5-10 3PT as a team.

OG Anunoby is back! Had a bucket, and-one, and a turnover in six minutes.

Also: the plus-minus column on both halves of the box score is hilarious.
December 6, 2025 at 1:11 AM
Knicks lead the Hornets 53-47 at halftime, thanks to a buzzer-beating act of heroism from Jalen Brunson.

It is happening again: the score looks good on paper until someone tells you they were up by three times as much.

NY led by 20 with 7:46 left in the first half. Now by six.
December 4, 2025 at 1:38 AM
The Hornets are lost tonight.

They are a young team that has had inconsistent reps with Ball and they are going up against a contender in the Knicks.

But this has bordered on silly

Brian Windhorst says when the Knicks and Bucks talked about a Giannis trade, NY thought their roster could win the East and compete against whoever won the West (mentioned OKC).

Added that he's not sure the Knicks are still on that same page about their standing in the league.

Brian Windhorst on who will call MIL for Giannis:

"It'll be Giannis instructing the Bucks where he wants to be traded and the Bucks trying to make the best possible deal with that team...you can put whatever verbiage you want around it...[in the summer] he basically said 'I want to be a Knick.'"
December 3, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Shams Charania on NBA Today:

"I'm told Giannis Antetkounmpo has been frustrated over the recent losing."

Says one source told him this is the "writing on the wall" with what will happen with Bucks, Giannis

The Detroit Pistons are in first place in the East at 17-4, but one of the toughest questions in sports is looming over them.

Be aggressive and go for it? Or stay the course?

I made the case that James Harden is the PERFECT target. Watch or listen wherever you get your pods! youtu.be/d1yyqtdP7P0

The Lakers this year remind me of the KD/Kyrie/Harden Nets

Three great players at the top but lacking the wing/big versatility & depth to make a title run without making every shot.

I can’t get over the thought that it would be best for both them and LeBron to move him.

Knicks win 118-109 over the Bucks. They win East Group C in NBA Cup play, they’ll officially play the Raptors in Toronto on a date in December TBD.
November 29, 2025 at 3:22 AM
Mike Brown said before this game that Jalen Brunson should be getting MVP buzz.

Brunson responded with 37 points & four assists on 12-21 FG, 4-6 3PT, 9-10 FT.

Knicks lead the Bucks 116-107 with 19s left. Looks like they’ll improve to 3-1 in Cup play, setting them up to play Toronto
