Nothing is final until the actual submission of nominations in March. Greens will just remove the defectors from the existing lists or re-run their selection process, whatever the party chooses to do.

There's a weird belief in this country that when the public vote in a referendum, that electorate becomes an eternal arbiter of that issue.

It's like the people who insist that the Scottish independence issue is settled because an electorate that no longer exists voted on it over a decade ago.

Stopping at Birmingham International rather than Birmingham New Street is a strange move, but I presume it's due to length of platforms vs trains? Folk could already just pop up to Crewe and change though, so it's not that huge a difference...

This reminds me a bit of Dudley's "Library Link" model. Out of interest, how connected does it remain to the wider library system? e.g. Will borrowers still be able to request books sent from other libraries, or is it just an entirely self-contained service?
