As well as being a bit put off that he wanted to make ANOTHER half-brother as consort, using the body of the OTHER half-brother. 🙃

With Ansbach and Gideon, whatever your stance is on these two characters, they're both pretty much on the same page about Miquella being a danger.

And damn, like, even Gideon was on the fence about Miquella -- like there's a bit of dialogue where he suggested destroying the cocoon because he felt Miquella would have been THAT much of a danger, and crap! The guy was right! 😩

Ever since the DLC, I haven't heard that whole speech.

"My dear lord deserved better" still remains among one of those touching moments in Elden Ring, especially considering this is about a character who's been vitriolically hated. And is still kinda hated even now. 😩
