I actually have heard one person mention them: Malcolm Foley who wrote "The Anti-Greed Gospel." Haven't read it yet, but I've heard him on a couple podcasts. This is from one I hadn't heard but turned up when I searched.

Do they think American colonists started the slave trade against the wishes of the British monarchy?

Did he watch the show? Conklin is tnt Graft King of gilded age America in the show, not someone with a principled stance on the spoils system.

Counterpoint: Decent gimmick with a host who is actively terrible at interviewing. Might be the best celebrity interview show in the US, but that's like arguing which MLS team is the best soccer team in America when the UK exists.

25-ish years ago I'd crush 5 roast beef sandwiches for $5 with soda and fries between high school track and club water polo practices.

People traded their Scofield Reference Bibles for Driscoll podcasts and AI Bible "verses." Probably a lateral move.

Had a similar thought about Victor Wembanyama last night. Draymond Green is 6'6" and he looks like a child next to Wemby.

He's wrong about immigration, but he said "disinflationary" and not "deflationary." Disinflation (when the inflation rate decreases but is still positive) is what we want in times of high inflation. Deflation is the opposite of of inflation.

Collinsworth pulled the classic "he was always nice to me" defense for a statutory rapist who repeatedly bet on baseball and repeatedly lied about it. 🤦‍♂️

Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.

Collinsworth with the classic "but he was nice to me" defense of Pete Rose, who had was a statutory rapist in addition to all the gambling on baseball that he lied about for decades.

What's your billing info? I'm trying to get my insurance to subsidize the cost of my reading these posts.

Seems that Bill thought he got plenty of women without having to hang out with a truly repellent weirdo line Epstein so it wasn't worth the hassle.

That show made me want a Chester Arthur: Political Fixer prequel series. Michael Clayton, but it's the gilded age and he's a louse.

Also, the original post specified "(low skilled workers)" when H1B requires special skills and/or a college degree. They don't even know the details of the things they say are destroying America.

How long can anyone pretend to be wacko without going wacko?

Other options:
C) It's a grift and he knows he'll build an audience of racist chuds by saying this kind of thing.
D) It's a grift, but also he's been internet poisoned without thinking he had so B & C.

This show also has SNL legend Paula Pell as an utterly unhinged maniac. [Complimentary]
