The people of BC deserve to feel safe. We are putting in the work at the province, now it is time for more changes at the federal level.
 
Today, I sent proposals to the federal justice minister to strengthen the Criminal Code and ensure our justice system prioritizes safety and accountability.

These were my great grandpa’s. A replacement Head Tax certificate signifying when he immigrated to Canada in 1910, and a certificate of Canadian Citizenship from 1947 (the year the Exclusion Act was repealed and the Canadian Citizenship Act came into affect).

There has been a lot of chatter today about Zelenskyy's meeting with Trump, some regarding this moment when White House correspondent Brian Glenn asked if the Ukrainian president plans to wear a suit. I want to address idea in this thread. 🧵

The people of Ukraine have suffered immensely since the Russian invasion. We all hope for lasting peace that protects Ukrainian sovereignty. We stand with the Ukrainian people.

At a time of polarization, I thinks its important to find agreement & cooperate across differences to better serve people.
