Like, Jeffries, centrists, any Dem who has their head in the sand, get this: MAGA is a uniquely right-wing thing. MAGA is all about a past America that conservatives make up in their heads, and one that is inherently bigoted. That's not LEFT at all, there is no equivalent. Stop this now.

When you try to imitate MAGA, you get someone like Gavin Newsom, a guy who is similar to Trump and is all hot air, but fails basic tests to be a true liberal Democrat: He buddy-buddies w/ Nazi podcasters, made things harder for homeless people, and failed the trans community.

Dems don't need a MAGA equivalent, a Tea Party equivalent, a Trump equivalent whatever- the POINT is flatten MAGA and all of its assorted parasites. The POINT is that the right would create a movement like MAGA, while the left wouldn't. The left doesn't want a so-called "formerly great America".

Donald Trump and George W Bush are very different in many ways but they have this in common: they were/are very appealing to large numbers of people and I would very much like to know what the fuck is wrong with every last one of them
