You either think you should post/protest/vote/talk about your oppression or you should fight about it

Either you think people who experience institutional violence on a daily basis have a right to fight back or you don’t

Like either you think people have a right to not only defend themselves but go to any lengths necessary to make life better for themselves and those they love or you don’t

The film seems to celebrate the employee sacrificing not only her self expression but all of her time, energy, and her morality up until it remembers it’s a PG-13 rom com and needs to have a positive, relatable message

It does nothing for the fashion industry because its portrayal of it is ironically shallow and it undermines its own themes (namely “be yourself and follow your dreams”) by making the protagonist simultaneously a go-getter capable of anything and a fool

Girl plays dumb and is actually oblivious to the consequences of her own actions until an older man explains everything to her like she’s five years old

Unless someone I respect, like the Coens or David Fincher or Chris Nolen or the Safdies etc, is doing it, I will probably never be invested in a video game adaptation

Now do you wanna talk about how Shadow of the Colossus is a bottomless well for analytical minds for 10 hours or how Dragon Ball is a story about an illegal alien who saves the world alongside a diverse team of fellow social outcasts and freaks for 4 hours?
