permanently transforming sounds more like a puzzle game (figuring out the right kill sequence) and untransform is more actiony as you're more free to clear out rooms to the flow that feels right to you. maybe a third path where each transform has a different rule to untransform?

I recently started doing this and found it to be super helpful figuring out what makes games fun to me. found out that I really like games that get me into a flow state.

what'd you discover?

can dissolve, melt, or implode and also able to mess with impact area size and fade rate

agreed on this line of thinking! especially when the game is new to me I'd be doing this multi-hover a lot. worth trying to reduce friction there so people don't lose out on understanding your systems / lose patience
