My guess?
1. They'll hold a vote
2. The "ayes" will outnumber the "nays"
3. They'll finally be told "welp, that's that. Hand over those files!"
4. They simply... don't release them.
5. Cue months of getting gently/indirectly told "yes, that's illegal; no, we're not going to do anything about it."

If the plan is to put a long enough fuse on the *really* atrocious features and bank on our short memories, don't let it fade.

Keep it fresh in everyone's memory: "T-minus 3 months until you lose x, y, and z! (Here's the list of the people in this room that voted for it, btw)"

Remember when Swalwell would whip out the "Subpoena Evasion" clock *every* time the GOP bitched about hUnTeR BiDeN?

I think congress dems should keep a similar clock with a "countdown" to when these horrors will be unleased, and to ceaselessly remind their colleagues and voters whose fault it is
