I wish I had this kind of support from parents that would be really helpful. My parents are emotionally abusive towards me and have been even before I was disabled and now even more so.
They make me feel like I'm never trying hard enough to "fix" my CHRONIC illnesses. #NEISVoid

If you're the parent of a disabled kid, I just want to tell you I know it's hard and I know you feel like you're failing constantly, but you're doing it and you're doing the best you can and your kid absolutely loves you for it.
