The game can only be played by two players head-to-head. The players use two buttons to control their hockey players to hit a ball that is smaller than a conventional pinball left or right.

Supposedly, this machine was designed to compete with Gottlieb’s low-cost “Street Level” pinball machines, like Silver Slugger. It didn’t have any ramps or fancy animations. It was the last Bally pin to use an alpha numeric display. The original theme for the machine was “Poker Night”.

While it was not specifically made for Pizza Hut 🍕, as had been rumored, the cabinet was frequently available at its locations.

This particular cabinet is loaded with Super Mario Bros. and Dr. Mario. As seen at The Arcade in Brighton, Michigan.

Dutch really nailed it with this game. It has three levels - a solid upper playfield with several shots and a cool bowling 🎳 lower playfield. The theme integration is fantastic.

A 2-player version of this game called “Soccer” also came out in 1975 (2,900 units).

The game has an animated backglass that features red soccer balls being kicked into a goal, which represent the player’s bonus.

Ooh. Good names. Thanks. I saw the 60 number on Pinside but I’m skeptical of its production numbers.
