I think one of the reasons I like Natural Born Killers so much is because it's so in love with the fact it's a movie. So many outrageous techniques, editing choices, cameras used, god it's just so fucking good.

his ideas about what the human mind can comprehend and especially the way our statistics driven world fragments our way of thinking are really interesting, and i love his writings on imagination, but a lot of what he considers tradition and how much he wishes to return to it sour it for me
