Side note, this game REALLY does not want me finding shiny Helioptile. I’ve gotten 4 Pidgeys, 2 Magikarps, a Drilbur, an alpha Excadrill, an Onix, and a Lairon, but no Helioptile.

Ok I take it back, shiny hunting in this game kind of rules
It takes advantage of the multiple Pokemon at once and with constant despawning, it's basically like horde hunting from XY
So far so good!

I intended just to go for Honedge, but overdid it and spawned a Noivern without realizing it
I had a good place to just mash A while watching videos for an hour and a half, but not sure if it’ll be as easy elsewhere
So far, not too bad

How do you decide your #Pokemon team in a new playthrough?
For me, I try to use Pokémon I've never used before, with occasional exceptions. Even if it means passing on Pokémon I really like, I'll try to keep it fresh
I also like to keep it within the region. Kalos Pokémon in Kalos, etc.
