I'll buy the book but AoS has become the most expensive game I never play. I love these kinda books conceptually but find contact with other people always ruins them by min maxing or having very different expectations or understandings of narrative

This makes it a different beast than straight up pvp shooters or assassination games where PVP is the core reason to play. Here it is a choice, a permitted and facilitated choice by the game.

To not only pvp, but actively deceive others until you're in the best position to betray them.

Not that PVP is bad, its allowed and a mechanic by design within the game. But it is entirely possible to coop against the Arc and not take each other out.

Reading alot of the social media the number of people giddy that they feign friendly before backstabbing is psychologically interesting.

FWIW this is just being sold to fund a new hobby project, I know many hobbyists NEED the money at this time of year (rent, food etc) and sell stuff but this is entirely FUN money for me so only bid if you want the army.
