In the beginning there was chance.

Entropy -> imperfections == imperfect knowledge -> free will

I don't have faith, I have standards: corroborated evidence.

Any jurist who ignores corroborated and legitimate pain signal is not practicing their professional role as a jurist. Period.

Best of luck.

Any jurist who ignores corroborated and legitimate pain signal is not a professional and demonstrates a fundamental incoherence with their sworn duties.
December 10, 2025 at 5:11 AM
Any jurist who ignores corroborated pain signal in their decision is not a professional jurist. Full stop.

That's the only framing you need.

Take a breathe.

What does a solution look like to you? If you have a great idea, what's your next first step? <---- that's the key.

Maybe, you're next first step is ignoring the news so you're not overwhelmed so you can reset your nervous system. Maybe, it's an amicus brief. Don't give up.

Neat. Hope one or the other or both start to take responsibility for their actions.

Executive's gig is to execute the law. Full stop.

Any jurist who ignores that isn't being a professional. No matter how much "discretion" the jurist hides behind. Rationalized bad behavior by a jurist is no better than rationalized bad behavior by the Executive.

Give em hell!

Ignorance is also unstable...win some, lose some, I guess.

Keep up the blessed work.

Word. I'm in NC. If SC is anything like it, sorry-not-sorry: we know better now to ALL of your backwardness (like 16yo age of consent laws...).

We know better now. And a jurist who ignores corroborated pain signal from the humans they are responsible to render judgment for is not a professional.

examples like that are all over. this is a great one. thx for sharing.

the one that REALLY got me was god ordering 50k "chosen people" to be slaughtered RIGHT AFTER the ten commandments were disseminated. I swear, both 10 commandments said something about causing other people's death...

Word.

I hope the responsible people left in the executive branch will do something about it, or the Senate will open a true investigation, or better yet, SOMEONE takes and is held responsible.

Imagine: a government run by adults willing to take and share responsibility?

A man can dream...

Sure isn't. And we're not stopping it yet with lawsuits or shame. Work to do on our end.

The executive acting without oversight is like a toddler eating all the candy on Halloween night while the ENTIRE family sits and watches.

^^^^

Me not remaining silent about that toddler eating the candy.

1. What’s my next first step?

2. What do I get for free with this insight?

Iterate that loop and you get exactly this kind of inference: minimum vs. maximum demands, real bargaining power, which constraints actually bind.

Surprising how far those two moves go.

Curious if that tracks for you.

Fucking traveshamockery. Ty for sharing.

Hike anywhere without hearing constant gunfire

BUT:

I can fuck a 16yo without worry

NC is a backwards as any state I've ever visited.

No budget? The least of the states concerns.

Sincerely: good luck here. This state seems fucked to me. But I may be biased.

This jives with my experience. As a 43yo citizen with 0 criminal record and 0 pending, I cannot:

Recycle bottles/cans for deposit

Use sidewalks in the suburbs

Rely on NC folks to use their blinker

Watch porn on my computer or phone

Buy recreational weed

I didn't quite do those things. I see I've missed the mark. I'll do better next year.
