Well that sounds like an endorsement. Grim she can do, particularly as a lot of the more complex emotional stuff in something like Turn Left usually goes over her head.

S’funny. Back in 2013 I was bummed Albo didn’t get the leadership. Shorten seemed less dynamic. But watching Shorten over the years, particularly his budget reply speeches, I soon changed. He was robbed in 2019, largely by LNP dirty tricks.

The same could be said of many traditional ghost stories. They almost always hinge on a central character who is the only one to see or experience the apparitions. Is Scrooge really haunted or just having bad dreams?

Well, they do derive from different traditions in different parts of the world. I don't think they became entwined in people's minds until the 19th century, possibly via New York's melting pot of Dutch, Irish, British, etc. communities.
