first year yes but they used his second year to use him more as an edge and where he really popped was just getting to the ball regardless of where the play went. I don’t think his sack numbers were all that astronomical. it was his ability to move sideways

lot of stuff isn’t on stat sheets because they’re like two yard gains or force outs but parsons could somehow line up wide over the right tackle at the margin and would show up on the far sideline assisting on a running back sweep. like, shit that shouldn’t be expected but he covered that much field

it’s hard to compare without sounding like I’m negging on him but parsons made so many plays where you’d say wait how the hell was he even involved in this play he started out 25 yards away. parsons is making those plays but from, like, 20 yards away.

carter is the miles sanders to parson’s barkley. 90% as good but that last 10% is really what separates you. great players all but I haven’t seen carter wreck games to the same degree as parsons
