This is the real choice facing us now. This is the article that should be written anytime the NYT, New Yorker or any other publication wants to write about Curtis Yarvin. Why is this not in a major publication?

Elon saying he’s going to reprogram his chatbot’s view of history is a perfect example of why these kinds of AI products aren’t the neutral “tools” people always defend them as. They’re little political projects reflecting the ideologies of their creators

BREAKING: Two sources tell NPR that DOGE employees have gained accounts on classified networks that hold nuclear secrets.

The Department of Energy denies the story: "This reporting is false," a spokesperson told NPR in an emailed statement.

Another part of Project 2025. I’ve been assuming this was coming.
NEW: AG Pam Bondi has revoked media protections instituted by former AG Merrick Garland, according to a memo seen by NBC News. More to come.

There’s a story here for whoever wants to write it about “alternative facts” providers. Not sure how new it is exactly—social media has always been AWESOME for amplifying confirmation biases—but Data Republican, Truflation, and the DOGE Clock are as important to understanding epistemic warfare 1/
Do any economists know how Truflation does its calculations? Like Data Republican for the DOGE bullshit, Truflation is the go-to “data” source for MAGAnomics confirmation bias. I’m just curious how it works

After almost a week, negative responses to my 7k+ word investigation into DOGE's access at NLRB relies on a statement on there being no "official record" of DOGE's visit.

Berulis never alleged DOGE funneled sensitive data to Russia. His disclosure relies on forensic evidence.

HOLY SHIT. You need to read this in its entirety. Way too much to even begin to summarize but it's really, REALLY bad. It's just one agency, NLRB, but it's likely happening at others. We are under attack, seemingly from the inside. What's happening here should put folks in prison
A whistleblower's disclosure details how DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data
A whistleblower tells Congress and NPR that DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data and hid its tracks. "None of that ... information should ever leave the agency," said a former NLRB official.

SCOOP: sources tell me that the State Dept plans to eliminate its only office to counter foreign disinformation, as soon as today, delivering a win to foreign governments like Russia, Iran, and China—and the office's mostly conservative critics.

Hi. So it wouldn't look like a trollific IRA profile; Learning and handling information is one of my favorite interests and due to ADHD there are some subjects I hyperfocus on. Past years I've been diving into Russian influence campaigns, MDM and other hybrid warfare operations around the globe.
