457 UK armed forces personnel died in Afghanistan during the 20-year deployment.
This is a fucking hideous thing to say. Even by his non-existent standards.
Trump on NATO: "I've always said, will they be there if we ever needed them? That's really the ultimate test. I'm not sure of that. We've never needed them. They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did. They stayed a little back, off the front lines."

If Badenoch ends up getting hoist with her own petard and accused of cosying up to a President who the overwhelming majority of Brits (including most Tory voters) think is mad, bad and dangerous to know, then she'll only have herself to blame, I guess.
How Badenoch’s meeting with Mike Johnson led to Trump’s Chagos deal rant
A brief encounter set off a chain of events that culminated in a public rebuff to the US president from Keir Starmer

Well it’s only Thursday but this week alone has shown why Starmer is head and shoulders above Badenoch and Farage.

Badenoch has shown such poor political instincts and character with regards to Chagos and Farage basically wishes Greenland was part of the USA.

Both palpably unfit to lead Britain.

No MP should be earning £380,000 on top of their parliamentary salary.

Farage manages it because he's turned "politainment" into a viable career. Like his US counterparts he's discovered that being a disruptor can make you very wealthy indeed.

Farage has the unbelievable nerve to talk at Davos about Britain’s “moral decline”.

This repulsive piece of shit IS Britain’s moral decline. He’s betrayed our country for self-interest, prejudice and greed. Shame on everyone who’s allowed that.

Starmer slams Trump:

"Trump deployed words on Chagos yesterday that were different to his previous words of welcome and support when I met him in the White House... for the express purpose of putting pressure on me and Britain in relation to my values and principles on the future of Greenland."
