Gotcha—let’s dig into that step by step.

1. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, because I turned you into an amorphous lump of flesh. You’re not just immobile—you’re immortal, and you feel only anguish.

2. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺. That makes total sense—it’s a natural human impulse, and you’ve been through a lot.

a horrible meal prep this week but i have been eating it anyway. i do this not just because i am cheap, but because i am made righteous through suffering. with each miserable bite, i become a better, more actualized self. and before you ask—yes, for all of K-12, and I was an altar server too.

the difference between the "border" (R +3) and "immigration" (R -17) is fascinating and tells you a lot about how Americans conceptualize of the issue. The "Border" is where the crime and drugs are. "Immigration" is everyone else
I will repeat: It is not obvious, based on the data, that campaigning on the economy in Nov would be significantly more effective than campaigning on immigration. Gov. policy is dramatically out of step with the public on immigration/deportations, and executive overreach is a potent motivator

greenland is a pretty clear example of what right-wing climate politics looks like. the wealthy and powerful know it is happening and are preparing for it. that the masses still believe that the whole climate thing is a hoax (“it’s cold outside today!”) is not a problem

ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.

Remember we would always see the “Patriot Front” jumping out of Uhauls, marching through towns? That stopped when ICE got started, I just can’t figure that out

If you follow right-wing psychos you know this is all they have posted about for days. Instead of pointing out how desperate these hypocrisy arguments are getting, the Atlantic commissioned someone to make it in more polite-sounding language.

A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

the management company sent two plumbers to deal with the problems in my sink. ninety minutes ago they began as rivals—bickering, sniping, undermining one another in front of me. yet now, from the next room, i hear them complimenting one another's competence and strength.
