I can’t stop thinking about Blitzø staying the night the first time… They matched each other’s freak but ALSO Blitzø finally found some reprieve (the grimoire/later Stolas). Something worked in his favor after so long. He finally got a break after so long running himself ragged. He got to rest.

I love the transition from that moment to this one — Blitzø recognizes that soul-crushing emptiness of losing everything, but bit by bit, their family comes together & decorates around them and livens the place up and he knows that however far Stolas has fallen, it’s not rock bottom. He’s not alone.
