Yeah, I dug the Highlander TV show. I enjoyed how it expanded the mythos.

I saw a father teaching his children to play last Sunday at our FLGS, and there looked to be some other players.

As cool as the models look, I don't have the financial or time bandwidth to pick up another game

Warmachine does have some great models. I still have my Mark II/III Khador force, but I did not like the vibe Warmachine players had, as they seemed to only play super competitively, looking to dominate a tournament or event, not have fun.

I am reasonably sure that is in the works, but they are working to get the Scouring Sands box into as many folks as they can before they go that route

The cards cover all the major roles (Skirmisher, missile boat, juggxrnaught, etc) but the practice missions use the 'Mechs from the Alpha Strike Boxed set. But there are rules to split the decks in case you have two scouts, or two snipers.

Oh yeah, Schindler's List is one of those movies I think everyone should watch at least once, and it is an amazing film, but zero desire to watch again.

I mean, it depends on the movie. Some movies are too intense for me to watch frequently. Saving Private Ryan is one of the best movies I have ever seen, but I have only seen it start to finish 2 or 3 times.
