Ah, I see bluesky is discovering that Indiana is doing a sportswashing.

Much the way that I would like success for my pro teams as a matter of civic pride (regardless of idiot ownership), I wish nothing but the best for the dudes rocking on the field and the trophy-starved sportsball fans here

We named and refer to a military leader as "Raisin' Cane" and we're using that IN A PRESS CONFERENCE ABOUT KIDNAPPING A FOREIGN LEADER

He sounds like he may just fall over in the middle of talking, good lord.

This is complete insanity

I was really really annoyed when Hillary Clinton chose Tim Kaine to be her running mate in 2016, and man do I feel more vindicated every day

the thing that has struck me about this is how many lapsed Catholics are taking this very seriously. I think for a lot of formerly religious folks there’s still a spark of faith deep down, the actions of organized religion have just done their best to kill it
Chicago priest Fr. Larry Dowling describes procession to ICE facility: “No one had the courage to speak directly to us. No one from Homeland Security could stand in the presence of the Monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament. No wonder. Evil is repelled, recoils in the presence of Christ.”

If CM Punk weren't already using "Cult Of Personality" as his entrance music, Curt Cignetti could absolutely use it as his.

He's right, you know.

At the very least, this should have been played at Aviva

The correct follow up would be "Senator, have you been to an actual war zone?"
Rand Paul: "Chicago is a nightmare. It is literally a war zone."

Bless you, this is really good, and please stay safe out there
My latest:”Through gossamer tributes, Kirk’s cruel condemnation of transgender people & his racist throwback views abt Black Americans were no longer anathema but instead are being treated as just another political view to be respectfully debated —like a position on tax rates or health care policy.”

Solar panels will account for most new power built in America for the rest of President Trump’s term.

But Trump and his Cabinet have argued solar energy is so unreliable and expensive that it’s unlikely to play an important role in powering the world.
Why the White House is abandoning solar
President Trump and Energy Secretary Chris Wright insist that solar power will never be a reliable source of energy.

Lotta people in power crossing a lot of uncrossable lines lately.

It's not sustainable, and I hope it doesn't lead where I think it will lead
