I haven’t studied MAGA theoreticians carefully, but I had the sense they’d gone as far as embracing Italian fascism (pre-Hitler) and other creepy versions of authoritarianism—but had made a self-conscious effort mostly to stay away (at least publicly) from Germany. Will they now follow Musk there?

The author of this article fails to take seriously Trump's promise to be a dictator on day one and eradicate his perceived enemy from within. Yes, democracy died on Nov. 5th. If anyone really believes Trump will cede power in 2028, well then, bless their hearts.
