It’s time for Apple to create a “feed”. There’s more than enough expertise that have fled Twitter and Meta that can help. Start with an instagram killer to help ween my family off Facebook and insta.

It’s interesting watching board room conversations steadily shift from “let’s figure it out!” To “have you put everything into ChatGPT?”

Product execs, Product leaders, Product managers...You’re not building a product. You’re building a business.

Maybe just my vacuum but the product community seems to talk way too much on process vs domain / customer / market. I feel many interactions I have with product teams they talk in frameworks (we need OKRs!) vs strategy (this is a huge problem for our customers!). Flip the narrative!

But I did talk to my users and had a complete understanding of their problems and needs to be successful!
This is, technically, a sandwich.

Please government. I’d take an enhanced version of google docs for iPad in exchange for not breaking them up.

Evolve in small steps not big leaps...

A problem that plagues young product/engineering teams who think they need to shoot for the moon vs starting with something small and incrementally valuable.

“We don’t hire all these engineers to tell them what to build; we hire them to show us WHAT’S POSSIBLE” - Steve Jobs

If engineering does not sit at the center of your innovation efforts then you’re doing it wrong or you have the wrong team.

I remember when I used to carefully curate the list of people I follow and now I’ve moved into the YOLO stage of social and habitually click follow all of anyone posting curated lists. Assuming your recos are better than algorithmic feeds.

Are we at the meta stage where we talk a lot about Bluesky? All OG platforms experience this moment.

Sometimes great execution isn’t enough. Your work needs to tap into peoples emotions to differentiate.

This is true across industries from an app to a service - execution alone is meaningless without emotion.
