Thanks to @square-enix-games.com I got to check out Seventh Heaven at Boba Bear! Got to have a tasty drink, a churro, Christine won me a Red XIII plushie in a claw machine, and best of all we got photobombed by Hamaguchi who just sat down next to us while getting a photo. Great time.

Mostly hyped for Yakuza Kiwami 3. Really not sure about the Rikiya redesign, but having a packaged in 3 Gaiden focused on Mine has my attention. 3 is definitely the game in the series with the most to gain from a remake, so I'm down to see how this turns out.

One of the coolest things I got to see at PAX this year were these original 2nd edition D&D books made for Japan, complete with manga style art and play examples. I knew these existed but absolutely wild to see them in person.

Posting Direct thoughts soon but Square Enix continues to be the main partner at Directs that grabs my attention. Elliot looks very much my jam and the new Octopath Looks like they're reworking the mobile game into a single player title. I'm all for it.

Just discovered the remappable back buttons on the new pro controller have *per game* assignments, meaning you can dial it in for each title and never have to remap swapping between games.
Love it.

All the other trade offs are 100% worth it, but going from the OLED to the Switch 2 you can definitely see a step down for color vibrancy and dark blacks. Everything else the Swith 2 brings so far is worth it, but I can’t wait to see an OLED option down the line.
