I had NPR on in the car today and they were talking to a Latino pastor in Minneapolis. If I understood/recall correctly, his congregation is majority Latino.
He said that when the occupation started around Dec. 2, he (and maybe his flock) were not too concerned bc they were going after

I’m battling a cold and before the game, I told myself that if the Panthers took a 1-goal lead, I was tapping out. (I’m at home, but I feel cruddy enough that I was not going to sit through a losing effort.)
Still feel cruddy, but a piece of my soul is healed by beating the Panthers 9-1. 😂 #raiseup

Sausage balls have become my go-to funeral food. A friend’s father recently passed — ALS, so expected but sooner than expected.
Turns out, no funeral, so she was back in FL before I could make the sausage balls.
So I have had to throw myself on the grenade and make them for myself.

Earlier this year, I saw “The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening with Cary Elwes,” then followed it up with listening to Elwes’ memoir. They all sounded so close — I can’t imagine how devastated the cast and crew are.
