The most egregious and insane part of NYT's excuse is that they provided Lasker's alias simply "as a way to learn more about the person" and covered up from readers the fact that this asshole (who basically spearheaded the entire "story") is a known & unapologetic white supremacist & eugenicist.

I finally understand it!! 🤯
My issue is that the "1st round" vs "2nd" round verbiage is vague—to me, it's much clearer to say "Initial Votes" vs. "XXX eliminated" vs. "YYY eliminated."
That way you can see which candidate being eliminated contributed to gains by another candidate.
