the only panel thats a bit shit is the roof, everything else is just spot welded on, or bolted (bonnet, bootlid)

the secret is that they are, but panel shops are scarce and therefore charge big money. Also I imagine if your policy provides for a hire car while you wait for repair this could send the insurers broke after a big storm.
