I do home gym. Not a social exerciser. A couple of variable weight single hand barbells, a decent weight machine, and a decent treadmill are the important pieces. You may want more stuff later, I’ve also got recumbent stationary bike, elliptical, pull up bars, etc. but that’s all because I could.

Accident rate was still a lot lower than other transportation. I absolutely agree on the hiring stuff. OTOH, I am old enough to have flown a bit in the 70s and 80s and a lot in the 90s and since, and the passenger experience has gotten steadily worse since the mid 90s.
