This article is a great intro to the important work of community health centers. One comment I'd make is that it could be read as implying that the majority of FQHC funding comes as federal grants, but the average health center's 330 grant covers only 18% of revenue (KFF 2019). 1/2

Had a great visit to the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum recently for the first time in many years. If you are in/around Boston it is very much worth checking out, and it is free if you are a member of @thetrustees.bsky.social. Also a great combo with Walden Pond.

Updating teaching materials on nutrition today and realized that the myplate.gov website has (in addition to the blatant Hatch Act violation) apparently removed all the Spanish language content/handouts. Figured nutrition is a way of making America healthy. Not if you don't speak English, I guess.

What a great show by @stereolabgroop.bsky.social tonight. My last one was 1993/94 at The Crocodile in Seattle, so it was a long time coming but worth the wait!

I uploaded 10(!) letters of recommendation yesterday. Apart from the last minute frenzy of proofreading, correcting, and cross-checking, it was really nice to reflect on how amazing (smart, kind, committed) our med students are and what a privilege it is to work with them. #Match2026 #fmrevolution
