In related yet less surprising news, the CDC Environmental Justice website is gone.
Updating teaching materials on nutrition today and realized that the myplate.gov website has (in addition to the blatant Hatch Act violation) apparently removed all the Spanish language content/handouts. Figured nutrition is a way of making America healthy. Not if you don't speak English, I guess.
If you see this, quote with a vampire that isn't Dracula.

I was told I looked más joven, bonito y flaco today....so at least I've got that going for me.
"Poor Kids" was an incredibly powerful documentary. Thanks for your work, which just highlights again the fact that we have the ability to eliminate childhood poverty in the US. That we choose not to do so is a moral failure (as well as a failure of public policy and public health). #sdoh
Come for the 3.75 hour discussion about Mötley Crüe, stay for the 2-part 9+ hour deep dive on PJ Harvey (or maybe the other way around).
Very excited there is a new #Bandsplain episode after a couple month hiatus, and the fact that it's about Mötley Crüe speaks directly to my teen glam metal heart.
At our health center every recent morning team huddle includes a conversation about 1) our continued inability to provide covid vaccines, and 2) how to answer questions about tylenol with our patients. Great fun.
NoMeansNo with Didjits at the Off-Ramp was an incredible show.
I feel like you were there, but memory is a funny thing. We also saw a bunch of shows that year.
What a great show by @stereolabgroop.bsky.social tonight. My last one was 1993/94 at The Crocodile in Seattle, so it was a long time coming but worth the wait!
Also check out the opener @memorialsmusic.bsky.social. I was a bit late for their set (door v show time mix-up) but liked what I heard.
Growing up I had a friend whose mom sold Shaklee supplements so they had loads of powders and vitamins in their cupboards and the only "chocolate" in the house was carob.
I uploaded 10(!) letters of recommendation yesterday. Apart from the last minute frenzy of proofreading, correcting, and cross-checking, it was really nice to reflect on how amazing (smart, kind, committed) our med students are and what a privilege it is to work with them. #Match2026 #fmrevolution
I was psyched to get a @tom-vek.bsky.social and Anna Prior collaboration in my new releases this week. Now how about a double bill with Tom Vek and Metronomy, preferably here in Boston?
That would have been great. Maybe next time....
