Couldnt agree more - I was back in Liverpool a few weeks ago where I studied Architecture in the 70‘s and visited both. The anglican inspires awe but feels more military than ecclesiastical, whereas the Catholic is bathed in Pipers vibrant stained glass & mass was wonderful. Crypt is fab too

Dan‘s right that we can learn a great deal from the Chinese. The interview addressed the Chinese‘s authoritarian approach to social engineering but i thought it glossed over its impact in human rights, and its construction safety record is just a small aspect of that.
