Whew. I was able to get a fully functioning high score system for Anime Trivia All Stars in just 2 days. The P<number> initials are there to help label players if they choose the same character and the game show goes for longer than an hour. All that is left is to make this look neater.

Just got told that I need to implement a high score display showing top 10 scores in Anime Trivia All Stars to address an issue with prizing distribution, and that it also needs to include scores of those who didn’t win first place.

I think I should thank my laziness for not making a Tiktok account in first place. When Tiktok became popular, I was already overwhelmed with having too many social media accounts. Also, Tiktok just didn’t click with me at all.

Just finished coding the cutscenes for the upcoming retro game themed trivia project. Now to make some minor edits in audio & visuals and find music that would fit the mood of the cutscenes. And the music has to be from games that are older than 15 years old according to my team...

Last night, I had a dream about a Danish TV game show called Hugo and how ppl were playing it with their landline phones. Looking back at it, it’s mind boggling to see how far we have come when comparing to today’s jackbox party games and smartphones.

Spoke w/ Capella Interactive that I would not be interested in running game show panels under its label at US conventions for foreseeable future. At the moment, neither of us see any benefits to expand the label's reach outside of Canada due to a number of reasons.

Finally caught up to Act 6 of Welkin Moon chapter in Genshin Impact. It's hard to find time to play these archon quests. So far, the story has been pretty good for Nod Krai. In less than 2 weeks, we are gonna STEAL THE MOONS back from The Doctor!

2025 was a big year for me as a panelist. I joined a small non-profit label as a developer to get help in working on game show panels. Thanks to them, we were able to release two new game show panels which have been in development for 6+ months in time for 2025 summer con circuit.

Testing out a new minigame called What Came First, where players have to know which anime came first. The coding can only handle anime from different years, but not anime released in the same year. We intend to add months into coding, so that we fit in multiple anime released in the same year.

When working on adding a new minigame to Anime Trivia All Stars, I just discovered that I forgot to include a line of code for Minigame Bonus for Missing Word minigame. Given how often Missing Word appeared last time I ran it, I can't imagine how different things would have gone if I did check.

After 3.5 rewrites, the script for new video game trivia panel that will be making its debut in 2026 is finally done. There were a lot of cuts made to reduce workload, and because things didn't make sense in the first two scripts.

In Husbando Duels, I allowed Edward Elric to participate since I have screenshot of him being 18 years old. Now with the final episode of My Hero Academia showing the main cast as adults, that means I can use official anime screenshots of guys like Deku and Bakugo in Husbando Duels All Stars.

Currently working on a new type of minigame where player has to know which anime came first. Unlike the previous minigames where questions are preloaded, this one doesn't. It takes 1 anime and searches for another anime depending whether coin in code is flipped heads for older and tails for younger.

Seeing WuWa win Player's Voice in TGA reminded me that I actually wanted to put guys from the game into Husbando Duels All Stars this year. But, I had 0 entries in my online survey for them & didn't have any idea where to put them. Hopefully in future, I would get responses of WuWa husbandos.
