I'm in.
Hope is in short supply rn.
Along with honesty.
GB News grilled me apparently?

Only problem with this is I've never been on their nonsense channel.

They lie - obsessively.

Help us grow an alternative to all the bollocks:

I'm old enough to remember Heath, Steven, Sharp, Watson and Southall getting shite early in their Everton careers.

Its a big factor. So much stems from the 2008 financial crisis though. That led to a decade (and ongoing) of austerity, which led to increased poverty and cuts in services, which led to migrants and minorities being blamed, which led to Brexit, which led to Reform and so on and so on.

I think sometimes people have an early opinion of a player and their ego refuses to let them change it. There are players I don't think are good enough but I don't bang on about it . They didn't sign themselves and they don't pick themselves. No one wants to play badly deliberately.

As long as Spotify is taking money from ICE, they don’t need or deserve free advertising for Spotify Wrapped.

Stop using Spotify until the ICE recruitment ads stop (and be on the lookout for Fascism Wrapped in Los Angeles, Austin, and NYC): indivisible.org/cancel-spotify?source=bluesky

Rewatched some Star Trek tonight.
Still wild how a show about warp drives and weird nebulae ends up teaching the cleanest lessons about being human.
Every episode says the same thing in its own way:
‘Be curious. Be brave.

…Try not to fire phasers unless you really have to.”

Absolutely. Like I said, it's more about my nerves when it comes to Everton. I'm spirit I'm definitely in Southall principal of starting the season to win the league.

One thing is without question; this is Donald Trump's World Cup now. And because of that, I wash my hands of it.
When the World Cup draw takes place today, Donald Trump will take centre stage.

No American president has taken such an interest in soccer and his relationship with FIFA has never been closer.

Why does Trump like soccer so much? And what does the relationship mean for the sport?

Everton/Newcastle......much of a muchness. Table doesn't lie, Moyes on Saturday would have been better saying "we've had a real shitter there today and it happens, we move on"

Btw I read a stat a while ago that I don’t know if it is right that Barry’s first seasons at his last 2 clubs he didn’t score until January then filled his boots
Improving rapidly, but with this stat in mind+his awful luck so far (mostly) it might be as well to tell him to go on holiday this month 😊

Everton 0 Tottenham 3
Everton 1 Newcastle Utd 4

Now both below us in the league
Welcome to PL 2025/26
Need to keep the mind focused every game, certainly no easy games this season

Kudos to @giuliabould.bsky.social asking questions fans actually want asked. Moyes did not like it and him doubling down on his Newcastle comments was extremely disappointing. The mentality is ALL wrong. #EFC

'The club has a long way to go' = 'kicking the can down the road' again, an easy way to not move forward, football-wise. It'll be 'Jan is a difficult window' next & 'we need 4 or 5 summer windows' & by then a new manager will be here, rinse & repeat. No real progression, mid table to bottom 6 again

There always has to be an enemy to deflect attention from the real problem.
The super rich are the most dangerous minority and they own the media.
I thought trans people were being lined up as the next target but you’re right. Benefits claimants makes far more sense.
