Several years ago I heard Seong-Jin Cho play Gaspard de la Nuit at Wigmore Hall. It was one of the most jaw dropping piano performance ever. When he finished, the guy sitting next to me and I looked at each other and went “unbelievable!”

I have been taking lessons on 1st movement of Les Adieu (LvB op.81a) for 3 months! Making progress but so many things to fix. The expectation is that it will be much shorter time frame when I moce onto another LvB sonata. I once heard that Igor Levit spent 8 years on LvB op.2-2 in his formative yrs
