I've become a little obsessed with learning about my family history since my grandad passed away. Especially since obtaining photos/items related to family history. Here he is in his rugby kit at his Grammar school in Newbury and also him with Charlton Heston

We had so many leftovers from Christmas Dinner... husband portioned them into 2 person roast packs and froze them so we're about to have another full Christmas dinner on 11th January ha!

Is it normal to constantly miss old versions of your children whilst being totally obsessed with who they're becoming? Sometimes I look at pictures of them when they were smaller and it hurts that I can't cuddle them in that form anymore.

Pretty productive day today. Removed bedroom blinds and ordered new net curtains. Regrouted bathroom. Hoping to get the house on the market soon so just doing little bits and bobs

I'm about to take the girls to their first crib service. They're not christened and we're not a religious family but there's something special about singing carols in church on Christmas eve and I think they should experience it

My daughter absolutely nailed her performance at her school nativity today 🥰 And she did it on the same stage that Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters and Coldplay have played in recent years!

Wombat doesn't know it but he provided so much light in the darkness with #SausageLeague and #Twanta whilst I was navigating a hard time in my personal life. He's absolutely one in a million and I hope he knows how cherished he is.
You know, I've just calculated how many days of my life have been spent bleeding (usually heavily) and it equates to almost 3.5 years in total when you adjust for post partum periods. I can kind of see why previous generations just had endless children.
