parents encouraged me to consider careers like teaching and government work because they were “safe.” People I know who work in those fields are struggling. Glad I went my own way.

It’s just so lazy to be like, we can’t do this because it would be hard. If an employee said that to him, he wouldn’t accept that (or maybe he would, tbh I don’t know a ton about him).

He will occasionally say something that makes me think maybe he isn’t terrible. Then he keeps talking. It’s weird to see people act like he’s a real one.

He’s kind of like a certain popular billionaire in that he is not the worst in his category of person but that doesn’t mean he’s a good person.

I spent part of an afternoon refolding and putting away all of my sweaters and sweatshirts and seeing them arranged nicely makes me happy so I get it.

This is good info but I encourage you to look for a similar chart that accounts for the impact of speeding in bigger cars, which are even more deadly in collisions.

If you’re interested, I haven’t listened yet but I think there’s a Cancel Me Daddy podcast where they talk about some of the power issues involved. She sucks but it’s also worth asking how someone who sucks was put in her position.

A family member lives on an unsafe street and just lost another neighbor to road violence. Redesigning the road would help but also assholes should slow tf down.

I don’t know anything about them but I’ve seen a lot of neighbors with Rivians. They are enormous!
