Same people will say that they worked hard and earned their money, ignoring the fact that the cost of higher education and housing used to be much more reasonable. They benefited from the system they rigged.

parents encouraged me to consider careers like teaching and government work because they were “safe.” People I know who work in those fields are struggling. Glad I went my own way.

Just demonstrates how some crummy people are happy to justify being selfish.

Great point. And I like how she does it. She can keep doing her thing.

It’s just so lazy to be like, we can’t do this because it would be hard. If an employee said that to him, he wouldn’t accept that (or maybe he would, tbh I don’t know a ton about him).

He will occasionally say something that makes me think maybe he isn’t terrible. Then he keeps talking. It’s weird to see people act like he’s a real one.

It was funny how he was like, “you want single payer? Well, what if [lists problems with current health care system that would be alleviated with single payer].”

No, but he is a preferable billionaire. Sorry to be weird - I was thinking of Mark Cuban.

We joke about how my dad wears his coat around the house and when I put mine on, I totally understood!
December 14, 2025 at 1:43 AM
I’ve been looking for a good warm coat for a while and found one I like. It made me feel so warm I was tempted to wear it around the house.

I spent part of an afternoon refolding and putting away all of my sweaters and sweatshirts and seeing them arranged nicely makes me happy so I get it.

This is good info but I encourage you to look for a similar chart that accounts for the impact of speeding in bigger cars, which are even more deadly in collisions.

If you’re interested, I haven’t listened yet but I think there’s a Cancel Me Daddy podcast where they talk about some of the power issues involved. She sucks but it’s also worth asking how someone who sucks was put in her position.

Would like to hear how this person feels after going to a memorial service for a loved one killed by a reckless driver

A family member lives on an unsafe street and just lost another neighbor to road violence. Redesigning the road would help but also assholes should slow tf down.
December 13, 2025 at 7:30 PM
I don’t know anything about them but I’ve seen a lot of neighbors with Rivians. They are enormous!
December 13, 2025 at 7:28 PM
Do they have the silly anti-Elon stickers?
December 13, 2025 at 7:25 PM
You said that already?
