Not only does Reingold's piece itself admit that the info for the correction came from a different source, the fact that it had already been made was noted in the FP's piece.

In a post defending the piece, the FP gave three examples of the story's "impact." Two were pieces of information added to photo captions that did not change the story, thus not rising to the level of a correction.
